Ricardo is Managing Partner of Nexia CPLA and an Audit Partner. His work centres on statutory and group audits, IFRS reporting, and advising international groups and high-growth companies establishing operations in Portugal. Manuela Pinheiro

Manuela is an Audit Partner at Nexia CPLA and leads the firm’s accounting practice. With close to three decades in the profession, she brings deep command of Portuguese GAAP, taxation, and statutory audit, ensuring rigorous, reliable reporting for clients.
Internally, she is the technical reference point the team turns to on complex matters.
She is a member of the Ordem dos Revisores Oficiais de Contas, the Ordem dos Economistas, and the Ordem dos Contabilistas Certificados.
Pedro Alves
Partner | Head of Tax
Pedro is Partner and Head of Tax at Nexia CPLA. He began his career in indirect tax, particularly VAT, and now advises across corporate and international taxation, from cross-border restructurings and due diligence to group reorganisations.
Clients know him for pragmatic solutions and a clear, long-term view of their tax position.
Pedro spent 14 years with KPMG before joining Nexia CPLA in 2012 to lead the tax practice. He has helped expand the firm’s international tax capabilities and regularly represents the firm at Nexia conferences.
